The Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship 2024 (BHMNS) is a program by the Government of India to help smart girls from minority communities. Girls in Class 9 and 10 get INR 5,000 per year, and those in Class 11 and 12 get INR 6,000 per year.

Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship 

Any student already receiving a scholarship under a government program is not eligible to receive the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship 2024. Eligible students are selected based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination and the income of the parent or guardian. 

Merit lists are prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. In each state, a quota is fixed based on the minority population of each community. The BHMNS Scholarship amount will be credited directly to the Beneficiary Bank Account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Eligibility Criteria 

  • The applicant must be a female student.
